Paul Clayton 
President

Paul founded Clayton Services, now better known as Turf-masters, in 1979. Back then, he had just graduated from UNF with a Political Science degree, though his love of landscaping had set him upon turning his passion into a lifelong career. Over the last 30+ years, Paul has developed an extensive knowledge base in all phases of landscape management, including maintenance, fertilization, pest control, irrigation, and landscape enhancement services. Paul is certified in Florida's Best Management Practices, a licensed irrigation holder, and also a licensed pest control operator. When not working, Paul enjoys spending time with three children and grandchild.



Martine Lackey
General Manager

Martine graduated with a landscape architecture degree from the University of Georgia in 2008, following her appreciation for the outdoors and creating beautiful environments for others to enjoy. She owned and operated a landscape design business after college, and in 2010 Martine joined forces with Turf-masters as the Business Development Manager. Martine now utilizes her skills to ensure all aspects of company operations are running efficiently to sustain and grow a successful business while cultivating happy, long-term customers. In her spare time, Martine enjoys outdoor and other activities with her two daughters.



Tommy Rovelli 
Production Manager

Tommy began working in the Horticulture industry in 1993 as a landscape maintenance operator. Over time, he honed his level of knowledge and expertise and advanced in position to maintenance foreman. When Tommy joined Turf-masters in 2002, he received so many compliments from his clients in regard to his work ethic, skill, and enthusiasm, that he was promoted to Supervisor of Maintenance, and is now our Production Manager. Tommy divides his time between training and managing our crews and ensuring our customers are getting great service. Tommy enjoys spending time with his family and is a member of a semi-professional rock band that supports major acts as they come through town.



Brennan Hamill
Business Development Associate

Brennan has always had an interest in plants and design, growing up with an involvement in his family’s commercial produce farm, and later moving on to floral arrangement. His more recent experience in marketing served to create the perfect skillset to prepare him for work in Turf-masters’ sales department. Brennan is responsible for preparing and presenting quotes for maintenance, turf and shrub treatment, irrigation, and landscape enhancement services. In his free time, he enjoys playing music with his band and cycling.


Manolia Jones
Office Manager

Manolia began her employment with Turf-masters in 2002. She has a background of thirty-five years in all phases of the banking industry, as well as office managerial and bookkeeping experience in the manufacturing and publishing businesses. Manolia enjoys spending time outside of business hours in church related activities, and the care and feeding of her feline family.

 

 


Laura Renner

Office Accountant

Laura has extensive training and experience in accounting, having worked her way up from an accounting clerk to bookkeeper, then controller. In 2007, she decided to take a break from the office environment and came to work for Turf-masters in our maintenance department. Her strong work ethic and attention to detail gained her a promotion to foreperson. Even though she enjoys the outdoors, accounting is her calling, and she has returned to the office where has become a true asset to the Turf-masters team. Laura spends most of her time away from the office working toward a obtaining her degree in Accounting.



Rick Mamone 
Account Manager

Rick has been working with Turf-masters since 2003. He draws upon his 25+ years experience in the landscape industry to provide outstanding results in his supervision of the properties we service. In his spare time, Rick enjoys his family and playing lead guitar in his church band.

 

 

 

Robert McRae
Shop Manager

Robert started working at Turf-masters in 2002 as a maintenance foreman. Noticing that Robert was handy with tools, he was quickly promoted to Shop Manager. He oversees the work of a full-time small engine mechanic and a shop assistant. He is also responsible for the fleet of trucks that consist of nine maintenance trucks, a landscape truck, two L & O trucks, two irrigation trucks and several other trucks. The equipment he maintains includes up to a hundred pieces of 2-cycle equipment, about forty mowers, as well as other types of machinery used in day-to-day operations. Robert enjoys spending time with his wife and 8 children, 6 of whom are now adults.
